CHAPTER MISSION and GOALS

CHAPTER COMMITTEE GOALS:

Education

To provide adequate educational opportunities to the Designated Members, Candidates for Designation, Practicing Affiliates, and Affiliates.

Associate Guidance

To provide guidance to Candidates seeking a designation:

Requires an active Associate Guidance Committee chair(s) for residential and/or general Candidates for Designation
Indentify candidates and their remaining steps to designation

Development and Retention

To increase membership to a one-to-one ration:

Develop and sponsor programs to increase Candidate for Designation, Practicing Affiliates, and Affiliate membership
Requires annual commitment from Chapter Officers, Membership Development and Retention Committee Chair
Partner with national recruitment and retention campaigns

Public Relations

To promote Designated Members, Candidates for Designation, Practicing Affiliates, and Affiliates as the authority for providing real estate solutions:

Identify and establish local advertising opportunities
Seek local methods to promote both the Appraisal Institute and designations
Partner with other chapters
Recognize accomplishments of chapter Designated Members, Candidates for Designation, Practicing Affiliates, and Affiliates

The mission of the Iowa Chapter is to support and enhance the role of the Designated Members, Candidates for Designation, Practicing Affiliates, and Affiliates in providing independent real estate property valuation services.
